Warriors and Guardians, we need you!

You may have noticed that there are some new things on MiniMonos Island from the recent updates!

Firstly, there are toads running rampant! Thecane toad has somehow made its way to our shores, and is threatening our native wildlife on MiniMonos Island like they have in other areas of the world like Australia and theCarribean.

Cane toads are an invasive speciesbecause they compete with other native species for food, eat native animals (like frogs and birds), breed VERY quickly, and have toxic skin which kills many animals each year. 

They are one of the greatest examples of why we shouldn't mess with nature- it's not their fault, they're so good at taking over habitats! It's ours (humans) for introducing them into areas where they normally wouldn't be found.

Warriors, we need you to help!  In order for us to protect the native wildlife on MiniMonos, we need to control the number of cane toads on the island. Monkeys learning the Way of the Warrior can jump on cane toads they see to earn Warrior XP, causing the cane toads to disappear.

Secondly, you may have noticed little blue eggs appearing around MiniMonos Island.  These eggs are silver-beaked tanager eggs, and it looks like they've been orphaned!  

Monkeys learning the Way of the Guardian can pick up these eggs for safe keeping, so they don't get stepped on or eaten by predators.  Picking up the tanager eggs will earn you Guardian XP!

So keep an eye out for the cane toads and tanager eggs if you're wanting to level up in the Way of the Guardian and Warrior on MiniMonos!
